YES! The Solution is a New Birth

"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ..." (Ephesians 2:4-5)

 

Friend, God loves you. He does not want you to remain incomplete with a dead spirit. God desires that your spirit be made alive - born again - so you can enjoy fellowship with Him and be whole like you were created to be.

 

This is what Jesus was referring to when he told Nicodemus in John 3:7, "You must be born again." Your spirit must be re-born, brought back to life.

 

But how?

 

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (John 3:16-17)

 

Jesus came into the world to die on the cross as a substitute for your sin, that nature inherited from Adam which results in a "dead spirit." He paid the penalty that was rightfully yours. If you will place your trust in His work on the cross instead of trying to fix the problem yourself and repent of your sin, God in His infinite grace and mercy will send His Holy Spirit into your life. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead will also resurrect your dead spirit. (Ephesians 1:19-20)

 

This is the new birth.
