The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The GOSPEL means "Good News" and it is the greatest news for everyone, every man, woman, and child on earth. Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and after three days arose from the dead to save YOU!         (1 Corinthians 15:1-8)

In His death he paid the penalty for our sin. "For He [God] made Him who knew no sin [Jesus Christ] to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21) Jesus BECAME SIN and God the Father poured out His wrath on His only Son, so that by faith we could be MADE RIGHTEOUS.

In His resurrection He conquered the final enemy (death) and - if we will believe - sets us free from the bondage of sin and death. It is through God's power over death that our dead spirit is able to be made alive - born again.

The Bible tells us that ALL fall short of God’s glory, and that we are ALL in need of his mercy. Some people think that they should try to get their life together before they come to God, but the truth is, God wants you to come just as you are. Matthew 9:13 tells us “But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
